The Annapoorna Breakfast Programme focuses on providing free daily morning nutrition to needy school going children, while working towards the objective: “Let no child go to school hungry, ever!”Thanks to many caring individuals, like-minded institutional partners and government servants who have constantly supported this noble initiative, Annapoorna now serves nutritious morning nutrition – free of cost – to over 500,000 school-going children at 6,000 centers located across 21 states and 3 Union Territories in India! Annapoorna works closely with over 800 local vendors in a decentralized model, with customized menu to suit the regional palate, and standardized menu within a region to ensure quality.Annapoorna received a number of prestigious awards including “Best NGO for eradicating extreme hunger” at CSR Times Summit held in New Delhi in 2018. Annapoorna has also received the Social Audit Certification with an SRoI (Social Return on Investment) score of 1.89.The volunteers numbering over 500 form Annapoorna’s life force. To know more about Annapoorna, please visit:Description of Activities Operations ExecutiveCore Responsibilities includes:POC of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in North RegionMainly responsible towards distribution of Morning Nutrition ingredients to the schools designated by Annapoorna Trust.Working with school authority towards distribution of Morning NutritionWorking with school authorities towards collection of Health data of the students for Impact AssessmentWork with Govt Authorities for the permission letters and MOUs.Our Operations Executive is the first point of contact for anyone interacting with Annapoorna in the North Region. These individuals can be any of the following:Schools inquiring for support from AnnapoornaPatrons wanting to donate to AnnapoornaVolunteers wanting to information on any scheduled programmesVendors inquiring about their payments from AnnapoornaAnyone wanting information or communication material on AnnapoornaAny other stakeholder requiring anything from AnnapoornaOur Operations Executive will respond to the queries to the best of his abilities based on the information he has. In case, additional information or follow up is required, he will direct the query to one of the concerned associates at Annapoorna and follow up to ensure the query is closed to the satisfaction of all concerned. Examples of these internal stakeholders include:Secretary of the Trust, who oversees the growth and expansion of Annapoorna activitiesBreakfast Operations Management teamFinance Management Team, including receipts and paymentsOther Employees, Volunteers, TrusteesAny other stakeholder, including partner trusts where applicableIn line with the above objectives, it is the main responsibility of our Operations Executive to keep all the essential information and material handy to be able to handle the day-to-day administration at Annapoorna, which will include:Managing and distributing information within the TrustAnswering phones and taking memosMaintaining filesSending and receiving correspondenceGreeting clients and customersQualifications RequiredBachelor’s Degree (preferably in English Medium) in any field, typically arts, science, education, finance etc. Previous experience in administrative or related functions will be useful, but not required. Experience with working with computers is a must, preferably having comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tally etc., or willing to learn these tools on the job.Skills RequiredAnnapoorna’s Operations Executive will have broad-sweeping access to information, which will need to be assimilated and delivered to the right stakeholders in a timely manner. This will require the candidate to find solutions and anticipate needs of the day-to-day operations of the trust.
